Book Cover Options

Still thinking about this; have decided to go with some peer suggestions, because they actually look better than what I was thinking of doing (working with the color photograph I had picked initially).

Not sure which of these three I like best; will have to think about it!

The book is "The Poems of Cold Mountain" — translations of 1,200 year old poems written by a Buddhist recluse who lived on a mountain in China.

After a bit of thought, I am leaning toward the second version but with the darker areas of the front cover made darker yet, and the darker areas of the back cover made lighter (and some texture added);
